isocket demo at TECH cocktail 8

The whole team was in Chicago yesterday to give our first public demo to a great group of 650 technology “cocktailers“. We demo’d the current beta build plus a couple of features we’ll be rolling out to you over the next few weeks. The response was great and we signed up quite a few new users.

TECH cocktail was founded by Eric Olson and Frank Gruber, two bright young guys in Chicago. Their mission is to amplify the technology signal in markets like Chicago, D.C., and Boston. We’re obviously advocates of entrepreneurship and innovation in places other than SF and NYC, so it’s great to see an upcomming community in our area. If you’re in a budding entrepreneurial hub, be sure to check out TECH cocktail for their next events.

Hello, our name is isocket

Welcome! It’s my pleasure to introduce isocket, the company blog, and our team.

The team has spent months of hard work building the isocket application. Understandably, everyone was a little apprehensive to put their creation in front of the public’s critical eye. Will it crash? Will they like it? Is there too much blue?

We want to build an application you love. We believe the best way to do that is by embracing your critical eye and listening to your feedback. Nothing will build an easier to use and more meaningful service than a trial by fire.

Our approach to a private Beta: Some companies will put out a private Beta only when everything is perfect. We think that defeats the purpose. We’ll be experimenting with different designs, changing things around, tweaking, fixing. Hopefully you’ll enjoy watching isocket grow as much as we do.

If you are part of the private Beta, it’s for a reason. We want to hear your feedback – anything that runs through your mind when using isocket. You can use the orange feedback band in the bottom right of every page (courtesy of Kampyle). Or, you can email feedback@isocket.com.

Cheers!
